I first connected with Rachel through Facebook, and from the moment we spoke, I could tell how special her vision was. She dreamed of showcasing the beautiful flowers she grows herself and celebrating at the stunning new home that Drew built for them. Their spacious backyard provided the perfect setting for everything they had planned—from the ceremony to the final dance under the stars.

Surrounded by the love and support of their families, Rachel and Drew’s day came together seamlessly. Loved ones pitched in to help set up and bring their vision to life, making it all the more meaningful.

The ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, officiated by Rachel’s brother. One of the sweetest moments was when Rachel and her father made their grand entrance down the aisle in a side-by-side. Following the short and sentimental ceremony, guests enjoyed a cozy cocktail hour with charcuterie boards while family photos were taken.

Their vendor team reflected their relaxed and budget-savvy style: a lively DJ, a bartender serving alcohol they provided themselves, delicious catering by family friends, and a fun ice cream sandwich truck for dessert. The food was incredible and the personal touches made it unforgettable.

Backyard weddings like this one prove you don’t need a grand venue to have a beautiful celebration. With a little creativity, love, and help from those around you, you can host an unforgettable wedding right in the comfort of your own home.

Rachel and Drew decided on a ‘Love Before Us’ table to showcase their grandparents, parents, and other family members. This was such a unique idea, it also had their guest book which had photos of them. Their friends and family wrote such nice things for them to look back later.

At the end of the night I put out smore’s kits and hot dogs for late night snacks for the people partying around the camp fire. People were welcome to camp out on their 2 acre property.
