Gwyneth and Taylor - October 2025
I had spent an entire year planning my dream wedding and hired Lily as a Day of Coordinator. I am a CPA so as you can imagine, I am very type A. But I had zero hesitation turning things over to Lily! I could tell instantly she had experience in the industry and knew what she was doing. She thought of everything! I can’t forget to mention I planned my Montana wedding from Texas, so it’s tricky to know what the final product would be, but she made sure my vision came to life! Hansen Weddings and Events was so thorough and took the time to truly understand what I wanted the big day to look like. Not only did she help me find some last minute vendors while I was still in Texas, but she guided the rehearsal the night before, helped set up the morning of the wedding, coordinated with all my vendors, instructed the bridal party, guided the guests, and handled some craaaazy weather.
It was a warm sunny day until about 10 minutes before the ceremony, it dropped (what felt like) 20 degrees, had high winds, and even started sleeting during our vows. It calmed quickly and a rainbow appeared 30 mins later, but at the time it was hectic. We weren’t sure how much it would progress but Lily worked fast to get the cocktail hour moved, get the vendors re-situated, guide the guests to the new space, and even bring my husband and me a plate of food!! There were a couple hiccups with vendors as the night progressed, but she was quick to resolve them before I even had a chance to think twice about it!
She was the perfect balance of warmth and kindness while also being direct and making sure everything stayed on track. When there were times we wanted to move around schedules or step away, she encouraged us and worked in the background to make it happen! All in all, it was a great experience working with her. I am so glad I was able to hand over all those details and just enjoy the day with my husband. I highly recommend Hansen Weddings and Events!!! - Gwyneth
Some weddings just stick with you — and this one absolutely did. Gwyneth and Taylor tied the knot on their family property in Montana, and all I can say is wow. People dream of places like this. The views, the atmosphere, and the love between these two made the entire day unforgettable (and yes, even the rain ended up being part of the magic). After the rain stop, out came a beautiful double rainbow.
We kicked things off with a rehearsal the day before, where we mapped out every detail — pacing, positioning, and all the “where do we stand again?” questions. By the end, everyone knew exactly what to do, and the vibe was already joyful and relaxed.
The morning of the wedding, I arrived early to walk through Gwyneth’s vision in person — table décor, vendor setups inside and outside the tent, and the layout for cocktail hour. We fine-tuned the ceremony area for ideal seating and perfect photo angles (because no one wants the Officiant in the first kiss shot).
Once everything was in place, vendors were directed, timelines were confirmed, and everything was smooth sailing… until Mother Nature decided to RSVP. As the ceremony began, the skies opened up! In true planner fashion, I pivoted fast — moving the charcuterie table and cocktail setup inside the tent with help from the bartenders (shoutout to Rock Split! ). Guests were gracefully guided inside, and by the time they arrived, the new cocktail hour setup looked completely intentional — as if it had always been the plan.
After cocktails and photos, the newlyweds snuck away for a private dinner moment (pro tip: always let your couple eat in peace before the grand entrance). I made sure they were camera-ready — no food in teeth smiles allowed — and they returned to a perfect grand entrance and first dance.
The night rolled on with heartfelt speeches, good food, and incredible dancing. Sure, a few tiny hiccups popped up behind the scenes (as they always do), but the couple never noticed — exactly how it should be. I handled every request, refilled drinks, and made sure the new Mr. and Mrs. Hansen could focus on celebrating their love.
Rain or shine, this wedding was full of laughter, quick teamwork, and the kind of joy you just can’t fake. I’m so grateful I got to be part of their story.
